APA San Diego and MOPA are proud to welcome local adventure photographer Travis Burke. Join us for a special one-night event including a photographic talk and slide presentation at the Museum of Photographic Arts on Thursday, June 13th, 2019.
From scraping grease out of restaurant vents at night to becoming an award winning landscape and commercial photographer, Travis believes that with a strong work ethic and a passion for chasing his dreams, he can do anything he sets his mind to. Four years ago, Travis embarked upon the ultimate road trip in his self-converted campervan from his Grandmother with only $81 in his pocket and a dream that he would soon make a reality. “I knew I had to take a leap of faith and commit my entire life to what I loved if I ever wanted to become successful at it.”
Whether it’s walking on a slackline over canyons, freediving through caves in the ocean or capturing the Milky Way Galaxy from remote locations, Travis is constantly pushing himself and the boundaries of his craft. Check out Travis’s work here. WHEN:
