Palm Springs Photography Festival – Free 2 day student pass

We would like to offer your students a complimentary 2-DAY PASS (one per student) to the 11th Annual Palm Springs Photo Festival (APRIL 24 – APRIL 29).

Students have the option of extending their time at the festival and can purchase additional days at 10% discount of the $85 price daily registration fee. The pass can be accessed here: http://2016.palmspringsphotofestival.com/files/PSPF_Student.pdf”>

The Palm Springs Photo Festival offers the opportunity for professional, emerging professional & serious advanced amateur photographers to study with legendary photographers, check out the latest gear, attend cutting-edge seminars, symposiums, and enjoy evening presentations by world famous image-makers.

Students wishing to confirm attendance using the student pass are required to email information@palmspringsphotofestival.com and provide their name with a valid university email address by April 4th, 2016.

Please have them print the pass and bring it on the selected day to the festival registration desk at the Palm Springs Hyatt Hotel (285 North Palm Canyon Drive Palm Springs, CA 92262). We will have a badge waiting for them at the festival check-in desk.

Are you a photographer, illustrator, graphic artist or designer, or other visual creator? Are you an artist’s/photographer’s agent or representative, or an image licensing agent? Have you discovered infringing use of your images, or the images you license, on the Internet and used the DMCA Takedown Notice procedure to have the images removed from a website? If so, we’d like to know about your experience. The US Copyright Office is conducting a study about the efficacy of the Digital Millennium Copyright Act ( DMCA ) Takedown Notice procedure. ASMP and the following group of associations are working together to conduct a survey of image rights holders and licensing professionals to gather information for the Copyright Office study.
